Monday - Students will present their Georgia biography project (GA flag and research) Tuesday - Finish Georgia biography project presentations Wednesday - Students will begin a Georgia Constitution project that involves analyzing assigned articles of the Georgia Constitution in small groups. The groups will then create a poster detailing the article. (Due Monday, 5/7/18) Thursday - Continue Georgia Constitution project Friday - Finish Georgia Constitution project Monday - Students will begin their Georgia historical person biography project. Each student was assigned a historical person last week. Instructions and all requirements for this project are linked below. The resources for completing research on each historical person is on the Home page of this blog under the "Research & Project Links" section.
Tuesday - Continue completing research on historical person using appropriate resources using graphic organizer and outlining essay. Wednesday - Finish graphic organizer and outlining. Students should begin typing 5 paragraph essay. Thursday - Students will begin working on their Georgia flags and historical person drawings. Friday - Finish Georgia flags and drawings; Prepare historical person presentation for next week. L.Q. - What are the major corporations headquartered in Georgia that contribute to Georgia's economy?
Monday - Students will complete an EOG practice assessment and a Kahoot review game in preparation for the 8th grade Georgia Milestones Assessment. Tuesday - Students will use articles from the New Georgia Encyclopedia to research an assigned major corporation headquartered and/or founded in Georgia. Students will create a tourism brochure on this company.
