Monday - Students will participate in a review and remediation of the state government unit. All students will have the opportunity to earn credit toward the state government test that was administered earlier in the semester.
Tuesday - Finish state government review/remediation (Due Wednesday, 3/29) Wednesday - Students will complete guided notes using a chart and matching from a packet on the different types and responsibilities of local governments. Thursday - Students will cover the standard on personal finance (SS8E5) by completing a "Game of Life" activity sheet using links that help students calculate GPA, expenses, etc Friday - Finish "Game of Life" activity - Due Friday 3/31/17 on Edmodo (See Mr. Jackson for class code if needed)

Tuesday - Students will complete a graphic organizer using a reading packet on the modern economy of Georgia Wednesday - Each will be assigned the "Made in Georgia!" mini-project which includes a question sheet and the creation of a poster on entrepreneurship and an assigned a major corporation based in Georgia. Thursday - Finish poster project; Review game on Modern GA, transportation, and economy Friday - Modern GA unit test; Poster project presentations Monday - Students will finish the Civil Rights timeline and document analysis and submit as one assignment; Students will then complete a few rounds of the Quizlet on SS8H10 and SS8H11 which is linked below. Tuesday - Pi Day activity Wednesday - Georgia and the Modern Civil Rights Movement unit review game Thursday - Georgia and the Modern Civil Rights Movement unit test Friday - Students will complete guided notes on the Modern GA unit (SS8H12) Monday - Students will complete guided notes on the growth of Georgia in the decades following World War II. Each student will also be responsible for completing the "Growth of GA Post WWII" question sheet and have it checked for accuracy/completion by the end of class.
