Monday - Happy Constitution Day! Students will participate in a Constitution Day activity of analyzing the Bill of Rights. With time remaining, students will participate in a review game on the causes of the American Revolution. (Quizlet review attached below!) Monday - Students will continue studying the geography of Georgia through completing a chart on the major physical features of Georgia's 5 geographic regions using a guided reading. This chart will be part of students' notes and will remain in their social studies binders. (Note: the guided reading is attached but is password protected for copyright purposes. Please see Mr. Jackson for the password that was given in class.) Tuesday - Students will complete guided notes on the climate, physical features, and resources of Georgia using a PowerPoint and graphic organizer (attached below). Wednesday - Students will begin a flipbook project that advertises the 5 regions of Georgia and their location, major features, resources, climate, and land use. Instructions are attached below. Students will complete a round of Georgia Geography Trivia in small groups and review answers at the end. Students will begin the Georgia regions/geographic features map using a Georgia regions map guide and class sets of atlases. Friday - Finish the Georgia regions/geographic features map if needed.
